rainy and cool week
Lincoln has had so much fun playing outside since it's been warmer but most of this last week has been rainy and colder. Since it was driving Lincoln crazy to not be able to go outside, we built a fort. He thought it was so much fun to play in, run through, and to play peek-a-boo. When we finally had a day that it wasn't raining, we started some fun landscaping projects. Lincoln loved to "help" outside with his own shovel and rake.

the sweetest sound
We have been very lucky that Lincoln has pretty much always been a good sleeper. Overall, when he has woken up from a nap or in the morning he will sing and play until we come to get him. Lately though he has been calling out "MUM" or "DAUD" over and over again for us to come get him. It is the funnest/best wake up call!

Lincoln does a somersault!
weekend in Utah
I just realized I forgot to write anything about our weekend in Utah. Lincoln and I decided to travel down to Gramma and Pop Watts' 2 weekends ago. Brandon was so busy finishing projects and assignments for school so we went. While we were there the Trent kids came to stay the week while Jack and Wendi were in Hawaii. So we got to see them for a couple of days. The timing was also just right that I got to see baby Robert! I didn't get any pictures for some weird reason, but he is so cute. Congratulations again Cindy, hope all is well! Lincoln got a little 24 hour flu bug while we were there and was miserable for a day, but we were still able to have some fun with Gramma, Pop, Uncle Greg, and the Trent cousins.

Lincoln was so proud of himself to be able to walk Truffle. It was really cute to see him play with him.

Mother's Day! It was a fun day especially since the Bishop canceled Sunday morning meetings and we got to spend most of the day together. Brandon and Lincoln made me a delicious breakfast in bed (Lincoln carried flowers in and Brandon carried the food). Later, Brandon also made a delicious dinner and just had be relax and rest most of the day. I feel so lucky to be a Mom to little Lincoln and our next little boy that's on the way. And to have a husband that honors womenhood/motherhood! I'm the luckiest! :)

weekend in Boise
This last weekend Brandon had a seminar to teach in Boise so Lincoln and I tagged along and hung out with the Trents! It was fun to see them. Lincoln was so excited the whole drive there and kept barking because of their dog or growling because of Jack! (Jack growls at him so that's what he associates with) After this visit, he now flutters his eyes when he's referring to Wendi! Lincoln had fun playing with his cousins and their dog, Truffle. We really appreciate that Sadi, Annelise, and Elijah will play with him too (even though he is so much younger). Thanks guys!

just everyday fun times
Lincoln is just getting so big! As always he is so much fun and learning new things all the time. Two of his new favorite things are jumping (off of things as well as on the floor) and the song "twinkle, twinkle little star." Anytime he sees a star (in a book or a toy) he starts humming it. He actually hums the first few notes pretty noticeably. It's really cute.

experiencing finger painting...he wasn't so sure about it.
I love this little sweet little guy!
