Thank heaven for little boys
There are several pictures here, but I thought they were all so cute. Lincoln absolutely loves Grant. He often wants to hold him, give him kisses, and tickle him. He is a good big brother and has been very careful and gentle around Grant. Grant calms down when Lincoln holds him and usually just looks at him. These two are going to be good buddies, I can already tell!

Lincoln was teaching Grant his animal sounds, we caught him on the "fish"

Visitors!
Saturday we had our first full house for Grant. "Pop" Watts and Uncle Greg came to pick up Gramma and as a fun surprise, Darren, Cindy and the boys came to visit for the afternoon. It was so fun to see everyone and Lincoln loved to play with Michael and Jacob. Thanks for the fun surprise, we loved it.

Grant & Robbie - just 2 months apart!
The big boys had so much fun playing outside in the sand box. It got a little messy, so they had to play in the water to "rinse off"...

Welcome home Grant
We brought little Grant home as planned on July 15. He was welcomed by Gramma Watts & Lincoln. We were so lucky to have Gramma Watts come and stay for the week to help with the adjustment. Lincoln loved seeing her everyday and probably wore her out since he doesn't ever stop. Thank you for everything, it was great having you here.

It's Independence Day!
We had such a fun 4th of July from sun-up to sun-down. We started off with a fun red.white.blue breakfast. Lincoln loved the sparkler in his pancakes. Afterwards we went to a parade with some friends. We relaxed a little during the afternoon and Lincoln played on the slip-n-slide. Before heading off to the fireworks, we had a little BBQ. Lincoln made it for the fireworks and loved them. He crashed though as soon as we got in the car and stayed asleep until 11:00 the next day. Long day for a little guy!

Happy Canada Day!
We celebrated Canada Day this year with a fun "weenie roast" - Brandon said that is pretty traditional in Canada. We also had poutin (fries with gravy and cheese curds) and strawberry rubarb pie, a couple of other Canadian favorites. We had some friends over and introduced them to some Canadian culture. It was a fun night!

fun summer times
Last week we went up to the mountains with some friends for a bonfire, hot dogs, and s'mores. It was so much fun to go up there and just enjoy the evening together. We haven't done anything like that for a while. Lincoln absolutely loved it. He loved playing in the dirt.
